Seosed III

The exhibition Seosed III (Connections III) consists of paintings in which Liia Leppik depicts the beauty and magic of nature, as well as growth and transformation. Everything is connected, and everything has roots somewhere. The same theme runs through Liia Leppik’s recent smaller exhibitions Seosed I and Seosed II, as well as the earlier and more extensive solo exhibition Juurtes on vägi (There Is Strength in Roots). The artist draws inspiration from nature itself — its colors, light and shadow, and the composition of surfaces and details. “It is exciting to create multiple unique layers on the canvas using different techniques, styles, and media. And I never tire of being surprised by how fascinating it all is!” the artist herself has said.
